Survivor AfterCare

Personalized Case Management.

“When you’ve met one survivor, you’ve met ONE survivor”.

Holding Hands

Once a victim's safety is ensured, we provide a comprehensive array of services and resources. Initially, the victim meets with a Victim Advocate for support. This is followed by a thorough medical and mental health assessment to address any immediate concerns. Given the nature of their trauma, most victims usually require some form of medical attention. Simultaneously, our Justice Advocate assists with the legal process, conducting a forensic interview and working with law enforcement to facilitate potential prosecutions.

Throughout the aftercare process, we supply essentials such as toiletries, clothing and groceries. We offer additional support in securing employment, applying for CalVCB, Section 8 housing, food stamps, WIC, and other necessary assistance. We ensure transportation to medical and dental appointments, as well as provide bus passes or Uber/Lyft services if needed.
